Single Mignon Dahlia - Red
Zone: Annual (Tubers can be stored and replanted for years to come)
Prefers: Full Sun
Will grow: 12”-18”
Blooms: Summer and Fall
Ideal for: Borders or containers
Why this variety: Our red single dahlia is compact and doesn’t require stacking. It will start to bloom early summer and continue until frost. This is one of our shorter single mignon dahlias, heaviest blooming, and extremely well loved by every pollinator in the neighborhood!
The pedals are a gorgeous deep silk red surrounding the center of golden pollen layers that open a little more each day for repeat bee/butterfly costumers. :) Just flip through the pictures and see the flowers full of beautiful pollinators; this was a daily occurrence throughout the summer and into the fall.
Current plant size: Young dahlia plant in 3.5” square pot.
