Why this variety: The Reliance Peach originated in 1964 from New Hampshire. It’s the coldest hardy peach variety available, even producing well into Canada. Reliance produces tons of beautiful pink blossoms in the spring and a huge crop of medium to large sweet, soft, juicy fruits in the summer. This is a “freestone” variety meaning the flesh is easily removed from the pit which is the most common variety at markets for easy fresh eating.
