It’s the most popular red currant variety in North America, has some of the best tasting berries of all red currants, and was bred to be resistant to white pine blister rust by the U of M . The bush maintains a relatively compact form, is incredibly cold hardy, and produces a plethora of pearly red sweet tart berries.
