Why this variety: The Reliance Peach originated in 1964 from New Hampshire. It’s the most cold-hardy peach variety available, even producing well into Canada. Reliance produces tons of beautiful pink blossoms in the spring and a huge crop of medium to large sweet, soft, juicy fruits in the summer. This is a “freestone” variety meaning the flesh is easily removed from the pit which is the most common variety at markets for easy fresh eating.
