Plant Spotlight

Raspberry Plants

Red, yellow, black, or purple, we have all four. They even ripen at different times for early, mid, and late season treats.

As with all our plants each raspberry plant has been heavily vetted for greatest flavor, yield, ease of care, cold hardiness, and disease resistance for their color and variety.

Apple Trees

There are few plants that provide more food per plant than an apple tree. Not only do we carry some of the most desired apple varieties on the market but also deliver them in ways that would benefit those with small spaces. 4 in 1 apple trees, and espaliered multi-variety apple trees provide a clever way to get good pollination without needing the space for multiple large trees.

Our 4 in 1 trees will grow larger and provide more food where as the espaliered trees are very easy to prune, fit snug against a wall or fence, and add stunning beauty to the garden that all your friends will ask about.

Currant Plants

Currants are an extremely popular fruiting shrub in Europe and represented throughout many garden landscapes. They’re finally now starting to gain well deserved excitement here in the US.

These are incredibly versatile, able to grow in sun or shade. They’re also incredibly delicious and beautiful! A true propagators dream as they multiply very easily.

Try red, black, pink, white, or all 4. Each has a different flavor profile and can be used in many culinary applications.

Blueberry Plants

Blueberry plants come in lowbush, half-high bush, rabbit eye, and highbush varieties. We focus on half-high bush (great yield for their smaller size, can live happily in a pot, and are extremely cold hardy) and Highbush varieties (Greatest yield, largest berries, and very cold hardy).

Just make sure you’re giving these shrubs an acidic soil location, adequate moister, and plenty of light so you can enjoy pounds of fresh fruit for decades to come!

Plum Trees

A fresh juicy homegrown plum is near impossible to beat so why not extend your season by getting plums throughout summer with our 4-in-1 plum tree! Or, keep it traditional by choosing one of our time tested delicious cold hardy single plum trees. These are some of the sweetest and most reliable on the market.

Honeyberry -

“Haskap”

Similar to blueberries but 3x higher antioxidants and easier to care for in our native soil!

These beautiful dark blue berries originated in the frozen tundra of Siberia and our varieties were then bred in Canada for maximum berry size, flavor, and yield. These are the best of the best and absolutely thrive in our environment (Zone 2-9). Great for fresh eating, jams, baked treats, and freezing.

Flowering Trees 4 the Bees

Many orchards make it a point to have around 20% of their orchard crabapples because they attract ALOT of pollinators and spread a great deal of pollen for better overall production.

We’ve selected some of the most prolific, beautiful, disease resistant, and cold hardy varieties so you can enjoy their beauty while nature enjoys their nourishment, all year round.

Cherry Trees

Cherry trees are famous for their breathtaking spring show of flowers. However, the additional coveted attribute of an edible cherry tree in the upper Midwest is to find a good tasting one.

We’re proud to carry some of the best tasting Tart, Sweet/Tart, and Sweet cherries that can be grown in our zone.

Strawberry Plants

Our strawberry varieties have been selected for best flavor based on Brix rating (sugar content) and blind taste test panels.

The June bearing would be excellent for U-Pick operations, large batches all in the same 2 weeks, and large berries. Whereas, the everbearing is best for the grazing gardeners out there who like smaller strawberries throughout a longer period of time.

Grape Vines

Grape vines are a beautiful way to make a fence, trellis, or hedge productive. These beautiful vines can make a garden both whimsical and a delicious summer treat.

Try your hand at pruning to increase productivity or simply let them go wild and cut the vine back occasionally to your desired space. Then, each summer you can enjoy eating these grapes fresh off the vine, making juice, or producing enough jam or jelly to last many cold winter months.
